Auditions
AUDITIONS for the award-winning Rhode Island Children's Chorus will be held on Friday, August 8 from 6:30-8:00pm and Saturday, August 16 from 10:30am - 12:30pm at the Berean Baptist Church in Harrisville. All children ages 9-15 who enjoy singing are encouraged to try out. They will meet with Miss Noel and be asked to sing a song with or without piano accompaniment. If the child prefers to sing with piano accompaniment, please have him/her bring the sheet music of the song to be sung. Miss Noel will guide your child through vocal exercises to evaluate range, tone quality, and ability to blend with other voices. Children will not have to sing in front of the other students auditioning. Your child will not need to be present for the entire audition session, but can come at any time between 10:30-12:30. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
