Auditions

AUDITIONS for the award-winning Rhode Island Children's Chorus will be held on Saturday, January 9th both in Harrisville at the Berean Baptist Church and in East Providence at the RI Philharmonic Music School. (See schedule below). All children ages 7-15 who enjoy singing are encouraged to try out. They will meet with Miss Noel and be asked to sing a song with or without piano accompaniment. If the child prefers to sing with piano accompaniment, please have him/her bring the sheet music of the song to be sung. Miss Noel will guide your child through vocal exercises to evaluate range, tone quality, and ability to blend with other voices. Children will not have to sing in front of the other students auditioning. Your child will not need to be present for the entire audition session and can come anytime during the audition period. The audition will take approximately 10 minutes. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
